Metro CDMX Faces Delays and High Passenger Volume

Metro users in Mexico City expressed their dissatisfaction with delays on various lines of the transportation system. In particular, Line 5 experienced delays of up to 15 minutes, which caused frustration among passengers. Others reported high user volume and a lack of trains on Line 12 heading to Mixcoac, resulting in crowding at stations and discontent among people waiting for the service.

In previous days, delays of up to 25 minutes were reported on Lines 3 and 9, raising concerns among users of Lines 3, 5, 7, 2, and 12. The official social media of the Metro reported high user volume on several lines, with waiting times of up to 6 minutes to board a train. However, Line 4 was the only one reported as 'clear' on the morning of Thursday, March 13.

Other lines affected by delays and high user volume are Line 7 and Line 2, where trains took longer than usual to reach the stations. Passengers expressed their displeasure with the situation and called for faster train movements to avoid delays in their journeys.

On the other hand, it was mentioned that Line 3 was experiencing delays due to high passenger volume, requiring more frequent stops at each station. Despite measures to expedite service, users expressed their concerns about the inconveniences this causes in their daily routines.

Regarding Line 2, deficiencies in service were also reported, increasing the discomfort of passengers who depend on this route. Despite the current problems, it is expected that improvements in public transportation, such as the construction of Line 5 of the Cablebus, will begin soon, offering more mobility alternatives to Metro users.

In summary, delays and high passenger volume continue to be a challenge for the Collective Transportation System of Mexico City, generating frustration and dissatisfaction among users who rely on this means of transport in their daily lives.
